Plans on hold

A client wanted to revamp their garden, but their plans were halted after discovering a Japanese Knotweed infestation. They were told that with the knotweed present, they might have to wait for several years while it was treated.

Excavating the knotweed

The client wanted to get works moving on their garden as soon as possible, so they contacted our team to find out what their options were.

As we were able to access their garden with a mini digger and tracked barrow, we excavated the Japanese Knotweed contaminated material and stockpiled it on hardboard sheeting to protect their driveway.

We then collected the contaminated material using a grab wagon and transferred it to an Environment Agency-approved landfill for deep burial and capping.

The client can now go ahead with their garden plans, with no further delays and without having to wait for years for the infestation to be dealt with.
